What is your cancellation policy?
Here at Ewa we value your time and our time. By scheduling an appointment with us you are agreeing to the our cancellation policy. When you schedule you will get a text and email reminder in which you will confirm your appointment via the square link. If you can not make that appointment, there are options in that same link to reschedule appointment or cancel. We require 24 hours notice prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule. Our system automatically charges a cancellation fee or “no show” fee if you do not show up to your appointment. If you are scheduled for botox (including botox follow-ups) it will be $50 and for filler $100. These fees do not credit to your next appointment. How do I cancel my appointment?
You can cancel any appointment via the link in your confirmation email or text that is sent automatically after booking! Additionally, you can call us at 585-362-5577 or email hello@ewamedspa.com. Cancellations via social media will not be accepted.
What do I do if I am running late to my appointment?
Please let us know immediately if you are going to be late to your appointment by calling us! We have a 8 minute grace period for all appointments. If you are going to be later than this, you may have to reschedule as we can not safely accommodate your appointment in a shorter time frame.
Do you ever have specials or promos?
We do offer special pricing and discounts from time to time. We always post these on our Instagram @ewaisbeauty, so be sure to give us a follow!

Treatment
Who is performing my treatment and what is your experience?
Our team are all board certified medical professionals who have either worked in critical care or served as a medical hospitalist. Each injector goes through a thorough onboarding and rigorous training prior to taking on our clients from the public.
Are your products safe and what do you use?
We use Juvederm, Restylane, Botox, Dysport, and Revanesse products. All of our products are FDA approved and bought in America. We obtain our products from representatives of the company who then in turn educate us on their label uses and provide us with trainings.
I’ve all ready booked, can I change the service I am getting?
Most likely what you signed up for will change or evolve based on your injectors assessment. The short answer is Yes! All appointments schedule out 30-40 minutes of your Injector’s time, which allows for you change to virtually any treatment.
What are the cost of your treatments?
Here’s a quick summary of our pricing:
For Botox/Dysport, Dr. Sunki is $12/unit. Filler prices depend on the amount used and the area being treated. Each syringe is $650 or $750 per 1 ml. That is one full syringe. We do not do half syringes.
Do you do consultations?
Yes we do! They are free too! During that consultation, if we have time we can also perform that service at the time of event.
Can I have a treatment done if I am pregnant?
We are unable to provide any of our services if you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do you have financing options?
Yes! Care Credit is a financing option for patients for cosmetic procedures. These procedures can range from minor injectables to major surgeries. You can apply online and check the financing options available to you at www.carecredit.com
I am getting married, when should I come in?
We love wedding season! We are all about getting you ready for that special day. If you are deciding to do filler, we suggest 2 months prior so everything can settle and any tweaks that need to be made can be done well ahead of the big day so you’re not walking down the aisle with bruises. For toxins, we suggest 1 month prior so that you are at the height of your neurotoxin, but it is still soft and effective. Ask us about our Trilift wedding special
What is your policy on bringing my kids?
Here at Ewa, we really want all of our guests to find that hush in their chaotic day. We have provided an environment where our guests can grab a light snack or relax with a café mocha and a book. Due to our quaint seating and our quest to maintain our vibe we kindly request that you not bring your kids. Our providers work super hard to make you comfortable when we are doing uncomfortable things to your face. It requires a lot of focus and due to safety reasons we encourage you not to bring kids under 12. With that being said we understand that life happens and if you truly have issues finding childcare please just give our office a call to give us appropriate notification so we can try and accommodate you. Just be aware that we have a lot art and things that are fragile. We have a “you break it, you buy it” policy.
Bruising
Bruising basics.
Bruising can happen to anyone at any time even if your injector is extra careful. Bruising, or ecchymosis in medical terminology, is the result of blood showing under the skin after a trauma. In aesthetics this is usually caused by a needle damaging a small blood vessel. We have a vast supply of small and large blood vessels in the face, so bruising can occur any time needle to skin occurs, even with Botox.
What factors contribute to bruising?
- Dietary (vegan diet tend to be healthier and cause more bruising)
- Vitamin consumption (especially Vitamin E)
- Nearing your period
- Recent viral or bacterial infection
- Medication (ibuprofen or other blood thinning drugs)
- Needle width or gauge (we use special small needles)
- Injection techniques (Dont worry we’re gentle)
- Certain areas of injection commonly bruise easier (lips and near eye area)
How do I avoid bruising?
- Avoid strenuous activity immediately before and after treatment
- Avoid alcohol consumption for 5 days prior to procedure
- Avoid blood thinning agents and vitamins 5 days before procedure (unless medically indicated)
Will I bruise?
We really have no way of knowing. If we had a crystal ball it would be a lot easier. If you take all the precautions we listed above and go into it with the mindset that bruises are temporary then that’s a great start. Understand there is always risk of bruising which can come in minor, mild, moderate, or severe. If you are going to an event or have a vacation that you really don’t want to have war wounds for then we highly suggest you wait until after that special event.

How do I sign up for rewards programs?

How do I receive points?
Your provider or the front desk will redeem and apply points to your account. You really don’t have to worry about it. Just sign up and let us do the work for you! Points are given after treatment. With Restylane and Dysport products you must wait 90 days in between appointments to have points applied to your account. These companies tend to run some wonderful promos so be on the look out through their emails or via our Instagram.
How long until I see points show up into my account?
Typically points will show up in the account in 2-5 business days at which time they may be redeemable for certain products or procedures.
Do points expire?
Yes, points can expire based on your “level” of rewards. Some levels do not have any expiration associated with them.
